Although terminal 1 was indicated on the booking. The rental was booked out of terminal 2. After waiting for 90 mins at terminal 1 we had to then go to terminal 2 to collect the car

The expansion of Terminal 2 will be completed in 2010 and by that time this amenity can handle an annual amount of 50 million people. With the exception of services operated by Air France, Terminal 1 is responsible for international flights. Only charter flights operate out of Terminal T9. Every 12 minutes a shuttle service departs from the airport covering a number of central Paris destinations. These buses run from the early morning to late in the evening. Passengers could also travel by train from the nearest RER railway station to Paris.

To pick up your car, you will need your voucher, passport, driver's license and a credit card. It is very important that your driver's license and credit card are in the same name as the main driver. Keep in mind that the local rental company will reserve a certain amount on your credit card as a deposit. This requires the PIN code for your credit card. If your driver's license is foreign (for example, in Chinese), you must bring a translation with you. Only your original passport and driver's license will be accepted - a copy is not sufficient.
