Amsterdam offers an interesting and liberal environment to visit for a holiday or a trip out of town. It owes the recognition for being the naughtiest European city for its liberal Dutch and direct approach to controversial liberties like recreational drug use and prostitution. If your driver's license is foreign (for example, in Chinese), you must bring a translation with you. Only your original passport and driver's license will be accepted - a copy is not sufficient.
