One of the most glamorous cities in Spain, San Sebastian attracts a lot of tourists every year with its beautiful beaches, sparkling waters, tranquil greenery, and historical sites. Beaches are the main attractions and car hire destinations in San Sebastian. The city has three beaches: Playa de Gros, Ondaretta, and Playa de la Concha, which is considered the pretties of the three with its wide crescent of sand. These beaches are located near the foot of Mount Igeldo and all three feature trails leading to the mountain's peak.
From the beaches, you can drive your car rental to San Sebastian's historic city centre for a taste of the city's history. The old quarter or Parte Vieja features narrow, cobbled streets lined with some of the city's oldest buildings. This area is also known as Area Romantic or Romantic Area because its architecture is similar to that of Paris, France.
