The international airport at Exeter receives flights from many major European cities as well as trans-Atlantic flights. Flights are a mix of scheduled and charter. The airport handles over 300,000 passengers a year. The airport is very close to the city of Exeter. Devon and Cornwall have amazing scenic drives, stunning beaches and beautiful villages, making this area great driving country. Cheap car hire at Exeter Airport is available.

Exeter Airport has impressive passenger number growth figures. The one terminal at the airport handles everything efficiently; it has 10 check-in desks, four gates and good luggage handling facilities. ATM machines, money changing facilities and car hire can all be found at the airport.

Food and beverages are in good supply at the airport with a nice variety of snacks being found at the Food Village. There are coffee shops available at the main concourse and the Departures lounge. A licensed bar is also available. Shopping is available at the Books Plus store. Duty-free items can be purchased after passing through security in the Departure lounge, and spirits, tobacco and perfume are all available.

Links to the airport are generally good. However, there is no direct rail link to the airport, with the nearest rail station at Exeter St David's in the city. It has good links to most major cities. The road links to the airport are very good with the A30 east and the M5 (Junction 29) well sign posted routes. Taxis are easy to find at the airport. Stagecoach buses (56 or 56A) provide a regular service to and from the airport.

There is ample car parking at the airport with facilities for short and long term users. Budget car rental is a good option giving you freedom to travel and explore the area. Cheap car hire at Exeter Airport is available and companies including Avis and Europcar are represented.
